Prayer is at the core of all we are and all we do!

Part of our mission is to grow an authentic, prayerful and worshipping networked community of faith-filled believers.

Together we present tangible proof that God delights to hear and answer specific prayers.  How?

We encourage one another to prayerfully depend on God for everything.  And we have the joy of encountering God’s heart for those in need and witnessing His incredible provision through matching prayer.

Matching prayer is when a Besom becomes aware of a specific need.  We don’t publicise it or try to solve it in our strength or resources.  We pray.  And time and time again, we have the joy of a phone call or passing conversation with somebody donating the exact thing that was prayed for at the perfect time.

Why not join in with our rhythm of prayer and share in the blessings of this ministry?

Besom wants to witness to wider society the reality of God and His goodness and the power of prayer. We have thousands of testimonies of answered prayers  - how?  Trusting in a faithful God who provides means we don't advertise our needs, or undertake fundraising activities.  Instead, our prayers underpin everything we do, increasing our dependence on God.  Up and down the country, this enables a wonderful, timely matching of things given with known needs on a weekly basis.  We know He hears the cry of the poor and can answer through our prayers and generous giving.

Five things you can pray for now.

  1. For those seeking God's purpose, that they discover His leading - Maybe it's with Besom!

  2. For your local Besom, its leadership, Time-Givers and those they serve in your community

  3. For those God is prompting to start a new local Besom - faith & boldness to step out

  4. Generous giving to The Besom Network to enable the flourishing of the Besom mission

  5. For wisdom and discernment for those praying, that they hear God's voice and leading for specific prayer - God goes before us all

Then I heard the voice of the Lord saying, “Whom shall I send? And who will go for us?” And I said, “Here am I. Send me!”
